Former Students in Print Congratulations to Mark Welton and Didi for their current successes. Both are former students of the Artimagination Airbrush School in the last 3 years and have gone on to become successful professionally using the airbrush. Mark has been featured in Pinstriping and Kustom Graphics Magazine (January 2008) and has his own One-Man exhibition of work coming up in Spalding, Lincs. Examples of his work can be seen in the article. Didi has gone on to run Didi Airbrush in Scotland. Examples of his work can been seen on his website. Artimagination Airbrushing was established in 1996 by Fred Crellin and is now a small family run company that specialises in, and caters for all your airbrushing needs, be it products, artwork or learning how to airbrush. So how can we claim that we are leading the way? Fully Qualified Tutor - In any of our extensive range of airbrush specific courses, your tutor, Fred Crellin, is a fully qualified, experienced airbrush teacher with nearly 20 years airbrushing experience and 5 years high school teaching experience. He gained a P.G.C.E. in Art and Design with Airbrushing being his field of specialism. He is one of a very select few in the UK with this specific qualification. Nationally Recognised Programme - Artimagination has written the only stand alone course in airbrushing in the UK, starting an Open College Network course in 2002 at level 1 and 2 (equivalent to a GNVQ levels 1 and 2). In 2005, a level 3 was added to this programme of study. A level 3 course, called Airbrushing: A Photo Realistic Approach, is primarily a distance-learning course. Commercial Illustration and Artwork- Fred Crellin has worked on some quite prestigious projects over the last 12 years, including companies such as Kelloggs, O2, Can't Cook-Won't Cook, Independente Record Label and Virgin Radio to name a few. In the last 2 years, a degree of reinvention has been taking place and is now looking to gain more work from the mainstream illustration industry. Fred is able to offer a wide variety of illustration subject matter, with a particular speciality in portrait, scenery and technical work. Custom Paintwork - Artimagination has won numerous awards and prizes for their clients for work done on their behalf. These include 'Best Scooter' at show at the International Scooter Show 2005 and countless smaller, local bike, trike, scooter, car and truck shows throughout the UK. Customer Service - Artimagination is a small family run concern that lives, eats, sleeps and breathes airbrushing nearly every day of the year. We can offer free, impartial advice on airbrushes, paints and products, or even if your stuck with a problem on a project.. we're here to help.
