Fred always uses the 3 learning principles when teaching (VAK- visual, audio and kinaesthetic). He will firstly explain what and why you are doing something, he will actively demonstrate what you need to do (so you will see him produce work in front of you) and then you have the opportunity to create the work yourself. Incorporated within the programme of study include elements of independent learning, where you are not necessarily learning ‘parrot fashion’. We feel these methods enable students to become confident using their airbrush/es and feel able to go away from our studio armed with the knowledge, know- how and experience to produce any piece of work.
Do I need anything else?
Other than an open mind and a willingness to learn something new, you need to just bring yourself. We supply EVERYTHING else. If you already have an airbrush, we are happy for you to bring it along to compare it against other makes and models.
We actively encourage you to bring along a camera and take photos and notes as you go along. Our class pack has lots of spaces to make additional notes.
Depending upon where you have travelled from you may need accommodation - a list of local providers is sent with the course confirmation. Please contact us if you require this information in advance.
